I actually had no idea what Double Dragon was until I looked it up and realized that I used to watch the tv series. Although I have never personally played the game on NES or SNES, the gameplay reminds me of other fighter games I played around that time. I always found it funny that once you beat someone up, they simply disappear as some sort of symbol for death. Furthermore, the idea of bloody injury appears to have escaped the creators of the game, but this may have been because the technology was not yet available to create blood and gore. This video really brought me back to the original days of fighting gameplay and the soundtrack enhanced to the experience.
Hahaha this is so funny, but I think hip-hop and violence is so associated with each other I kind of expected this video to play out like. It was really creative though, really makes me want to play some snes...
This video is fucking awesome. I love how the hip-hop aspect was able to keep up with the crazy beats that were kind of tricky at some places while still describing the story.
Ah, it's Owen Hart vs. Bret Hart all over again! My favorite images were of Jimmy clubbing baby seals and baddies shittin' bricks. While I'm at it, you're girlfriend thinks I am totally hot.
Did you see that Sweet Chin Music used on ABOBO? Man these guys are not playing around.
